I should say that my download took 4 hours but it was successful and faultless, as always at this home, slow but safe. ;):D

========================================

Auran still touts "free downloadable content"

Yes, they do still with TS12 but it's N3VRF41L side, not the now defunct Auran.

OK. So TS12 is out. A few questions for a veteran Trainzer...
First, why didn't I get a discount voucher good for TS12 like I did for TS2010, having been a previous version player?

Second: I would really like to wait for some feedback in the forums before I purchase TS12. I don't know whether it will even run on my poky P4 single core 3.4Ghz 3Gigs RAM, NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB.

There is one feature I saw in the YouTube presentation that I really like, and that is the zoom out to satellite view. Is that view available in Surveyor and Driver?

As for multi-player, I could care less. I enjoy my solo Trainzing experiences just like I love to do marathon training alone! But of course I do love to race... on my feet, not with trains!

No one other than N3V can answer your question.

Why not post it on the TS12 Forum.

Have fun,

Many thanks Alberte, or, should I say, muchas gracias. :p

How is everyone at IberTrainz, are you creating anything for the new Trainz version ??

You're welcome, or should I say "de nada" :hehe:

:hehe: You can never say never, dear guy.

But, as you probably know, at IBTZ we are always much more interested in giving service to 4ers, 6ers, Classickers, 9ers, 10ers and now 12ers... :hehe: Fortunately we've been very careful (or very lucky, one never knows :hehe:) with our assets and most of them have been working up to T10. That's our policy. ;) Since the Company has a policy, everybody else has others.

Hi, dear FW.

Even though I'm not the N3VRF41Ler kind, I dare to try answering some of your doubts...

First, why didn't I get a discount voucher good for TS12 like I did for TS2010, having been a previous version player?

I guess this is a new marketing policy for getting more income. And the result will be... I don't know, NevRF4a1l will know in the end.

Let me quote myself... :D

Hi guys, ;)

Are you sure you're reading the new TS 12 forum? ;)

http://forums.auran.com/trainz/forumdisplay.php?f=64

:DThere are already answers for everybody over the place:
  • Sunshine blowing
  • Whining
  • Seem-to-be-bugs and bees
  • Missing luggage from previous versions
  • More computer horsepower needed
  • Very happy 12er trainzers
  • Not so happy 12er trainzers
  • swear2.gif
    12er trainzers
  • And me, who is in doubt and not starting very hopeful.
    no-no.gif
I'd like to, please, believe me.
Go there and have fun, that's the hot meeting point for would-be 12ers.

The same kind over here regarding Trainz only. My marathons are another kind... :hehe: on my custom motorbike. And not alone, with dear wifey! :hehe:
