Purple ballast again? You might want to look in to getting a new monitor. And, the color I used is so unreal that its what the real route has. I'd certainly check your monitor though, nobody but you has called it purple over and over to everyone else's confusion. It looks gray to me on every computer I've ever tested them on.

i went to find what color i used to color the ballast.

it was RGB 141,133,143 which is gray/grey, but IS in the 'purple' hue. its so far into gray though... i dont know. its what i did to match it to the images i had of the area.

i guess i could desaturate it all the way, i just never saw it as purple, just a cool gray.

I have a request, would someone show me the C30-7 cab in TS12?

And speaking of Ballast colors, It is according to me, a grey with a very, very light tint of purple.

i did not make a new cab for the c30-7 that comes with the game. i dont think the china ND5 has a new cab either.

Most of the screens show the ballast as gray, some appear to display a purplish hue, but I believe it's going to depend on what "time of day" in the game the picture is taken. Of course it can't be forgotten that we all interpret colors differently to an extent, and no one is immune from color blindness as we age either.

well, i will seriously consider the colors and consult with some team members. if it gets changed ill include it with the next patch.

Just bump the green to 141. As it stands the red and blue (even slightly higher than the green) will always give it a purplish cast. It just has to - blue + red in equal quantities = purple.

Bumping the green up to the same count as the red will give almost the same 'color' as you have but make it a definite cool blue-grey with no hint of the 'purple' that seems to upset so many people...

I am very pleased with the performance in TS12, even with all these JointedRail trains in one scene, it maintained decent fps.

The track does seem a "little" too purple for the Tehachapi area, which is mainly grey, or "gray," whereas for the Cajon sub, it is actually that colour in real life.

Looks grey to me... And I can give a damn if it was green or blue or orange.I just appreciate that it is built in good quality track
