i have been building a route from Newcastle to Carlisle along the Tyne valley for the last 6 yrs. i have it ready to upload but would like some one to check it first to make sure its okay its of other peoples asset some slightly modified i am 21 have not got a clue about building own assets this was done from my fathers knowledge he is a retired signalman from this line not quite true to route but someone may make it

If you are planning to upload any modified versions of other people's assets, you must ask permission from them first unless the asset's config.txt says that this is not required.

Hi Djggra15,

May I suggest you start a nice screenshot thread for your route.
After posting a bunch of screenshots, make a post in which you point out the modified assets or ask if people know a better fitting asset for a specific situation.

Next step is probably to either ask the creators of the content you modified if you can upload it or ask if someone is willing to help you out with making assets for your route. There are a lot of nice people on here who are willing to help you and may even be more happy to help you with a route you will share with the public :).

As a side request: Could you please consider using proper punctuation in your posts? It makes reading your posts a lot easier, especially for people who do not speak English as their first language or who are dyslectic (like me). Thank you.

config file says okay assets have not been modified but intergated
Using assets in a route is okay. Those assets do not need to be uploaded with the route; the route will just link to them and list them as dependencies.

to Shane i am also a kickstarter backer train crew i take it you are a uk member would you look at the route i do not want any credit just think its worth posting as not many uk routes on trainzs that reflect the original lines as this was the first x country route built i am also working on the original wylam waggonway route where puffing billy and wylam dilly worked but became a branch line to the Newcastle to carlisle route

i would like to post a screen shot but do not know how to and for your info i suffer from asburgers syndrome sorry about punctuation

I can do once N3V sort out their current server problems, and yes I am a UK member - residing in Worcestershire. If you want to post some screenshots of it, you are welcome to do so in the Screenshots forum which I do look in

In terms of how to upload screenshots, there is a sticky thread in the Screenshots forum that covers how to upload screenshots, and creating them is a case of using the Print Screen key on your keyboard then finding the screenshot in the <trainz install folder>/UserData/screenshots folder.

Possibly - my memory is not very good nowadays (my image on the Kickstarter site is what I look like). Interestingly, I also have Aspergers as well.

Meanwhile, there are several people here including me who can help you if needed.

In order to post a screenshot on here, you will need to upload it to a photo-sharing site and use the code the site provides.

I personally use ImageShack, but there are others - Photobucket and HostThenPost to name a couple.
