TS12 drive command issue

I keep seeing the “Issue a ‘Drive to’ command prior to the ‘Load’ command” message when I’m using the track mark for some reason.

You are probably using the wrong command. You can't use the Load command at a track mark.

You use the Navigate to track mark, Drive to track mark, or Navigate via track mark, or Drive via a track mark to travel via specific routes.

The Navigate To, or Drive To, without track mark mentioned is for going to an industry and after that you use the load command.

I have the following in order: Navigate to trackmark1, load, drive via trackmarker2, load, unload, drive via trackmark3.

When you drive to a track mark you use the stop command not the load command. The cars will then load once the train stops.

Thanks! I got the doors to open too! But I’m confused on why the load and unload commands didn’t work properly? But other than that, I’m happy! :D

I'm glad you got that to work.

The Load and Unload commands are associated with the Navigate to, Drive to commands. These commands have a pulldown menu that you use to choose the interactive industry destination.

Interactive industries have a fixed track attached to them such as a power plant, or lumber yard and also a passenger station or platform if it too has a fixed tracks attached.

The driver command schedule is setup like this:

Navigate to (or Drive to) industry ----> Load ----> or use the Unload command.

When you do this, the train will lose controls and the script will kick in to unload or load your commodities or passengers. With passengers, the doors will open and the passengers will exchange on the platform.

Sad to say, but keep in mind that a lot of older industries are broken with new Trainz builds.
