TS 2009 and Vista mare tz map

I would like tu use vista mare tz map to print routes, adjust speed and others......... like it was posible with tz 2006 and 2007 ........
Any help

Yes, guys, well put. But the problem is that Good Maurizio (its creator) will have to go two steps ahead since Trainzmap stopped working at the TC trainzy station.

I think the best idea would lie on the auranite side. Alike they implemeted a way to replace objects, why not a way to print map plans on TS2009 EE?

There is a trick that enables you to use TZ in TC, and possibly TS2009.
I know it works with TC but it is a while since I tried it.

TZ is looking for TRS2006.exe.

So copy that file to Auran\TC3 and then you should be able to get it working. May also work by renaming a copy of a file to TRS2006.exe.

You start TZ and the TRAINZ FOLDERS window should appear. Under TRS2006 click on Installed in folder and browse to the correct folder in TC3. Vistamare will then scan TAD.

Whether it will be able to read TS2009 TAD is another matter, but try it and see. For this copy TRS2006.exe to Auran\TS2009.

Edit: Yep it works externally from TZ. I'm no expert on TZ so don't know if all functionality is still working but I can get a map and choose various lists and navigate to chosen item. We could do with a detailed report on TZ and TS2009 from someone knowledgeable.

Actually, I believe you could put any file, even a blank txt file.
As long as you rename it TRS2006.exe that will work.
All Trainz map is looking for is a file by that name.

I've not tried it, but I've read elsewhere that Trainz Map cannot be used with maps that have been converted to the 5m grid.

You are quite correct, it will not work if you change your grid to the new 5m version.

That's a minus, maybe the creator will update TrainzMap.

Since installing TRS2009, I can't get TrainzMap to run. It tells me that since it cannot find Trainz tracks, it has nothing to map and will shut down. This is despite the fact that I haven't touched my TRS2004 install. I tried re-installing it in my TRS2009 folder with no change in outcome.

Trainzmap normally does not support TS2009, but some of the suggestions in this thread may help getting it to run.

I have just reinstalled vistamare on my computer and got it to work with ts09 .. this is how i did it;

1. copy the exe file for current trainz program to a new folder on desktop

2. rename that exe file to trainz06 (i.e: trainz - TRS2006)

3. move that file to your current trainz folder and run vistamare

4. set vistamare to go to the following; C:\Program Files\Auran\TS2009

this has worked for me and i am now printing out my map work as i am writing this ... hope it has helped you out
