TRZ2006 loves my duel core

Hello:
I think I have a unique problem very high frame rates sometimes 1k or more
that when in suveyor- new route the screen jitters.

I tried to edit trainzoptions.txt to -framerate=60 and -framestoaverage=30 no joy:'(

any Ideas

In the opening menu select

Options
-Advanced
--Refresh rate
---Vertsync
----Half rate
---Frequency
----(what ever you prefer, perhaps that of your desktop.)

This should give you a maximum frame rate of 1/2 your Verticle Sync. Not sure if "trainzoptions" can overide this.

TRZ06 running in window…Would I get still higher FR full screen?

FR 400+ blank map, All sliders Maxed out except Fog, Map board stops shaking at 85/90 FR when scenery in view ( Placed some HZ Rolling Stock w/ shadows)
Just for comparison: Murchison Hi-Rz 20/40 FR Vertsync----Half rate


Will higher Freq damage CPU and if not slow down FR?

Well I think ill will save a couple almost blank grids and reset for max FR

I suspect running at maximum FPS puts a maximum load on the video card, using maximum power generating maximum heat. Limiting the FPS should lighten the overall load on it.
