Yes, but clone the route and save the non built in dependencies to a cdp. Beware that 2010 will auto replace the track and especially the trees with speedies. Both of which can be easily changed.
Visually 2010 is a lot better.
Importing TRS2006 routes into TS2010 is a bit tricky, as it involves built-in items. For the non-built in routes,it's a case of using Import Content in TS2010 and point it at the TRS2006 local folder.
