TRS2006 or Classics?

What are the differences between these titles and which is better?

Myself personally am not getting anything else until a game comes out that has all of the TRS2006 content in it so it is compatible with my tracks.

Also, i know there is a lot of content to download, but with the computers and games being so sophisticated these days and able to take a lot, couldnt all the content be added to make a Mega title? Instead of having individual games with heaps of people saying 'hey i wish i could have that in this game' and they cant.

Okay that's what I'm looking for. I want full support and built-in content from TRS2006 in the game i would buy. I'm currently editing Australian Tracks, my most efforts being aimed at Weddin, and it has included many old Locos from NSW, which are available for download for TRS2006 and TRS2004, and would need this compatibility.

P.S. It's not what this Post is for, but can someone help me with Content Manager Plus? It keeps sjhowing me only the Search Results Tab and not the other like Missing Dependencies or Today Tab.

Well, as far as I know, Classics doesn't have the TRS2006 Content included although you can transfer the database into it.

On the other hand TS2009 has all the TRS2006 content and TC1&2 Content plus the benefits of the new software.

But it all depends on you as the user as to what you want. I am using TS2009 and TS2009 only and am very impressed and happy with it.

My opinion would be if you are into UK items then TRS2006 plus TC3, the TC3 game engine is better than the TRS2006 one, fewer undocumented features, otherwise go with TRS2009. TRS2009 also contains the built in content from TRS2007 as well as the rest. Be aware that most content is found on the DLS (100,000+ items) and that TRS2009 is the version that can download all of this. TRS2006 only allows you to download TRS2006 and lower content.

Between 2006 and Classics, I prefer 2006. That's just my opinion. I don't think you should use our opinions to make your decision anyway, but I understand why it seems like a good idea to ask.
