TRS2006 Content Download Manager not work

Content manager plus will freeze when I start it up. I just reinstalled a fresh copy of Trs 2006 on a new drive on my computer and the Content manager still just freezes a have a FCT that I activated last month and I am wasting it since I cannot download anything. What can I do?

I had this problem when I installed my newer version of 2006 +sp1, I suggest you re input all your info on the profile page user name password etc even if they are the same and do same in the settings folder on the cmp, I take it the page comes up so you should get into settings.
I don't know why this happens as I put in the exact same info as was already there.... but it worked !!! give it a try
