TRS2004 Texture files needed

Many older assets have been converted to use *.im files. Many of the *.im files contain references to *.Texture files in the TRS2004/World/Custom directories, which I never accquired or installed. Is it possible to obtain the TRS2004 package?
Also some references are to www.auran.com/TRS2004, which is not a useful link for finding these files.

I have tried creating the directories referrenced and making a copy of needed texture files found in another asset, but I still see the error messages for the assets. For instance the chrome.texture file.

By the way I exam the *.im files using notepad (edit->find) while being carefull not to save the the file before closing it.

Any suggestions?

What exactly are you trying to do? as 2004 stuff can be updated without 2004, which is irrelevant to the problem. .texture is an internal game engine format, either used for builtin assets or created by content manager when you commit the asset and are made from the texture.txt files and the image files belonging to the asset. The IM file also contains information which is only relevant to the PC it was created on and is of no use to anyone else, probably what you are looking at. the .texture files themselves are only relevant to the asset they belong to, you can't "borrow" one from elsewhere.
If you are trying to use assets in TS12 you just need to find out what the errors and warning are and fix them, plenty of info on these forums about how to.
Think you may need to look at some the many threads on how to repair and fix assets for use in newer versions and the various tools that are available from Pev PEVSoft Downloads that can make it a lot easier, A .texture if you come across one, has to be unarchived using Pev's Images2TGA and converted to a texture.txt and an image file, usually .tga before it can be committed or any fault with the texture repaired, normally for a none builtin asset the conversion is done for you by content manager when you open the file for edit.

Rather than using notepad to look at .im or .pm mesh files, use PEV's Mesh_Text_Viewer.exe program which will display all tags and parameters in readable form. You can't use the program to edit anything but you can see what textures are used and what attachment points are in the mesh. Good program for resolving missing texture and attachment point problems.
