TRS19 Service Pack 2 Released

Great news in time for Christmas holidays - we're rolling our the next free update for TRS19 today.

New Content, New Features, Improved Stability

The latest free update for TRS19 is now available and delivers new content, new features and a range of bug fixes, improvements and optimisations.
Service Pack 2 (SP2) unifies all our TRS19 customers onto the same build number with cross-compatibility for content, routes and sessions including multiplayer.
SP2 also updates the file format to Trainzbuild 4.7 and therefore assets created or saved in SP2 are not compatible with earlier Trainz builds.

If you have problems patching, it may well be quicker and easier to log in to MyTrainz and download and install the new version.

You will either need to rename your existing install (or just delete it) or install to a new location.

If you choose a new location, then simply point your new install to your old local data folder then run a db repair upon restarting.

Nope, not working. Changing streams and targets gets me nada! I either get the message "No patch available" or nothing (goes back to the Trainz Settings Install Tab). I followed the instruction on the Wiki Patching page.

I currently have build 110394, the latest beta release. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Or is the update for TRS19 not TRS19 PE?

There's also a missing RMM tree but I was able to download that one from the DLS.

This isn't a deal breaker for me because I don't the use the missing container in any of my routes and the kust asset (shrub) was fine, but I'm sure this will be bothersome for others.

Patch installed with no issues. Did a DBR and PreBuild. Now to check several different routes to see what if anything is missing or marked faulty compared to previous beta build.

I checked the content store and noticed I had some updates to some of the routes including the Edinburgh to Dundee. The content is downloading now and I will check in the morning since it's now after 0200 and I'm to tired to think anymore.

A few updates:

Platinum Edition patches are now live.

There are a bunch of content updates (Content Store > Update tab) so until you update those you may have missing items.

Our server in the US is currently experiencing some routing issues to Australia (reports of 4 minutes to download in the US and an hour here). Update: And as soon as I posted things improved greatly! Some things are just beyond our control.

I'm on Platinum and when I check for updates, I get a message saying no update available. What gives?
Also tried my TRS19 SP1 build 105096 with same results for it too.

EDIT:
This dlc error is harmless in this case, the content should be installed and working fine.

In this case it means different packages were installed in the update to the original dlc pack e.g 450f is left over after the update and the new content didn’t expect it, but won't affect the DLC pack being used in Trainz.

We have improved this for future DLC packs using the new tzarc system, but older DLC packs may sometimes show this when updates are released.

I had this too but then I subscribed to the Newsletter and 14 Day free Plus Trial and since I have the Plus Update Stream it patched to TRS19 SP2.
But before, with the regular Platinum Edition was no download avialable.

I hope you can update your version soon.

The original stream was Trainz plus beta which showed no available update. I moved to the TRS19 Platinum Edition Beta and the download was available.

Hey Guys, just got the news letter and I'm guessing I'm in the wrong bit of the forum. Does SP2 cure the bug with AJS superscript? And also, the class 47 and the mk1's. Is that an exclusive thing to Trainz plus or will it be available as DLC at sometime in the future?

I have Platinum build 105100 and it is saying "no update for Trainz is available at the current time. I am on stream TRS19. I am reluctant to change to a beta stream. If this is available why is it not in the TRS19 stream?

I’ve seen few new content such as the F7 Cabin LHD/KBH, which got me thinking, when will a RHD version come, will The Nohab ever get its own cabin instead of sharing with F7? Is MPS still in development and is it a feature That everyone will experience, or is it only for premium members?

also SP2 has bugged my Locking Tower on my route.

I thought I would comment here about updating my Steam version of TRS2019 North American Edition since as far as I know no testing was done on the Steam version due to budget and time priorities.

Initial install of the patch to my 105175 build of SP1 to SP2 build 110497 went OK I guess. Took about an hour or so counting the DBR. I checked in CM and of course found tons of faulty assets so I commenced the suggested updating of assets in the Trainz Content > Updates panel. It is now 4 hours and I still have 4 of the original 10 updates to install. I'm not sure if installing more than one update at a time is a good idea as it doesn't seem to shorten the install time.

I'm going to hold off trying to update Platinum until the Brew Crew is back from holiday break in mid January. I'll monitor the problems others are having with the update too. Can I assume that the full install available at MyTrainz is updated?

Meanwhile, Happy Christmas and Merry New Year to everyone at N3V. I truly hope you are allowed to visit loved ones and have a jolly good time.
