Does anyone here have a problem with importing content with CM? Mine will just keep showing its installing for a long period of time on the second install of content and I have to shut CM down and restart my laptop and re-install the content that would not install before with success only to go through the same thing on importing more content.

I have not had issues doing that, Todd.

If you have shut down the process by killing the program, you need to run a database repair now to clean up the mess. On the Launcher, click on developer on the menu bar and choose repair database. The process can take quite a bit of time depending upon the size of the assets and the amount you're installing. The process may appear to hang, but it's really working in the background.

There are a number of things you can do to ensure your data import process is quicker.

1) Ensure you have adequate disk space.

2) Increase your virtual memory (Windows page file - usually 2x built-in RAM.

3) Disk is defragmented if this is a regular spinning hard drive.

Same thing is happening to me trying to download missing assets, I select faulty files to then select their dependencies in the next window, and when I select more than say 10 to download, it'll download a few of them at first, and then the program will just stop, with this red scanning do-da moving in the bottom right hand corner of content manager.
Have a First Class Ticket.

This is what have found out when importing files to TRS19 when the download bar pops up installing content if I do not move the download bar to any other are of my desktop I don not have a problem at all and can import all the content with no problems I find that weird.

Quite possibly anti-virus or some other application interfering with the process. If you can find out a way to force it to freeze then please submit a bug report.

Hmmm, yes, I made an exception for the steam trainz 2019 folder within the anti-virus program, and it seems to be working ok now - Content Manager.
Thanks for that.:)
