TRS 2004 will it run on a 64 bit system?

I have no problem running it in Windows 7 from the Programs x86 folder. TRS2004 runs perfectly. TRS2006 not so much, but well enough.

I have TRS 2004 and want to upgrade to a 64 bit system. Will I have any problems?

TRS2004 uses 32 bit instructions which happen to be a subset of the 64 bit instruction set so yes.

However your cpu is probably dual or quad core and TRS2004 will only use a single core. TS2010 will use more than one core.

If your video card is fairly recent ie less than say 4 years old TS2010 supports DXT compression natively. So running TS2010 effectively quadruples your video card memory.

If you have more than 2.5 gigs of memory TRS2004 can use a maximum of 2 gigs of memory, TS2010 can use 4 gigs.

Apart from that error free assets in TS2010 run more smoothly, of the errors that don't show up in TRS2004 many have an impact on performance.

Translation you need a bigger meaner bit of hardware to get the same frame rate out of TRS2004 as you do TS2010 running the same assets.
