TRS2004 uses 32 bit instructions which happen to be a subset of the 64 bit instruction set so yes.
However your cpu is probably dual or quad core and TRS2004 will only use a single core. TS2010 will use more than one core.
If your video card is fairly recent ie less than say 4 years old TS2010 supports DXT compression natively. So running TS2010 effectively quadruples your video card memory.
If you have more than 2.5 gigs of memory TRS2004 can use a maximum of 2 gigs of memory, TS2010 can use 4 gigs.
Apart from that error free assets in TS2010 run more smoothly, of the errors that don't show up in TRS2004 many have an impact on performance.
Translation you need a bigger meaner bit of hardware to get the same frame rate out of TRS2004 as you do TS2010 running the same assets.
