Trouble With Tracks Staying On Ground

When putting tracks on a grade and through curves for whatever reason I'm unable to keep them on the ground. At least one of the tracks will be but my other one floats in midair. Then I settle the floating track on ground and the grade is messed u. I'm trying to keep a 1.6 percent grade on one stretch. There's another portion where it's a 1.8 percent grade but can't keep it consistent due to the tracks not wanting to be on level ground. How do I resolve this issue?

Because the track creators don't allow the edges of the track to be curved into the ground enough. JR had one track a few years ago that curved into the ground just perfect but I don't remember the name of it. It wasn't Protrack though.

It probably was either the ST#100 or RTXT tracks.
Add to that their MS track found on the Tehachapi Route. There's some track with terrain in the name with deep ballast that digs into the ground.

Since you are currently using the old VMD track, you will have to use an embankment spline underneath. Look for some that belong with j_ on the DLS. They should work well for you.

I swapped them out with SAP tracks.
