Dear colleagues!
The winter season has motivated me to use TRS frequently. So, while driving, I decided to replace my old GTX 1650 S graphics card because when changing trains, I would lose track and some other add-ons, and I had to wait a while for them to appear. Pressing Pause fixed the issue, and all the add-ons appeared quickly, but it was a bit annoying. So I bought a new card—maybe not a top-of-the-line one, but a mid-range RTX 5060. I installed the card, installed all the new drivers, and ran my routes that were previously showing problems. And to my surprise, the new card has exactly the same issue :/ I also change the displayed section of the route, and again, many of the add-ons and tracks are gone! This is despite the Frame View preview showing around 80 fps, and my TRS settings aren't the highest. I have the program installed on a PCIe 4 NVMe M2 drive, as well as my system drive. I no longer have regular HDDs. I'll check out a few more maps, but I'm not holding out much hope. Maybe it's time to abandon this unrefined simulator, especially since there's no word on any new and improved versions being released. Finally, the crucial question is: should I keep this new card or return it? Maybe another simulator I use, namely MSFS2020, will make better use of it? But is it worth it?
