trouble with content manager plus

Hi this is only my second thread since I bought trainz classic 3 and my troubles seem to be getting worse, first I cannot get download helper to work and now content manager plus is not working. All I have on the page is current search, nothing else, the rest of the content manager plus page is blank, is there any way to get the full content manager plus page back. I can do nothing with tc3 without it. I am new to all this and it is driving me up the wall, all I want to do is run tc3 and download a few items. Hope I can get a few people to help me get up and running. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to Trainz,

I might have remembered it wrong, but I cant find the actual post about this so quickly, so I hope someone with longer history or a clearer brain can confirm or correct this:
As far as I know, games from before TS2009 can no longer use the DLS / CM without a First Class Ticket.

I think the idea behind it might simply be that they also stopped supporting those versions of Trainz.

To get your full screen back open CM and go to 'Settings' at the top then into 'Filters' and click on 'Reset to Default'. This should put everything back as it was. As far as downloading goes oknotsen is right in respect of needing a First Class Ticket to access the DLS which would probably be the reason for Download Helper not working

Hi. Andy I have got a three month first class ticket, I bought it when I registered my copy of TC3 , so why no download helper.

Have you activated your First Class Ticket? It does not activate automatically.

If you have, try changing your password in your profile, as well as clearing the Download Helper list in Content Manager.

Hi Andy yes my first class ticket is activated and changed my password in my profile, cannot change my download helper list in content manager as it is not there. I was coming to that, I did what you said to get contant manager back, it is back but now I have problam. The whole of the left hand side is missing were you download were it says idle, and were your downloads show up. Any idea what might be wrong. I am very grateful for all your help.

Open Content Manager and in the upper left hand corner go to 'View' and from the drop-down menu make sure that there is a tick alongside 'Activity Panel'

Tha TAB key toggles the activity panel on and off. Very useful to give you more working space.

Hi Andy. Thanks for your help with content manager plus, I did as you said and it is working now, The only other problem is with the download helper. I went to download station to download an item, I tried to download it with download helper, but all I got was a white internet explorer screen with these messages. The webpage cannot be displayed, most likely cause some of the contant files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed. What you can try, search on line for a program you can use to view this website, retype the address, go back to the previous page. This happend every time I tried to download with download helper, and download cart. Hope you can help. Thank you.
