Trolleybus overhead

Hello out there I am doing a layout with quite alot of trolleybuses in it,and I am having trouble with making points or having the buses actually travel under them. Can any one give advise on making them ,Ive tried making motorman1066 points but have failed .Also I haved used mgreens roundabouts for the end of routes but sometimes the bus goes around and then it won't.Is there any where to tell you how to make points with the overhead wiring available. any help would gratefully received.George

Do what I do and use invisible track with built-in trolley cables. It's so simple. All you have to do is place the supports for the wiring, and that's not hard.

It is quite easy to make simple junction points with motorman's OH without trying to make advanced points.

Find out by using a single board to practise on (I use a board especialy for testing anything on) just as you would lay train tracks, lay out a straight length of 8m OH with a few spline points on it and then with the 2m OH just attach it to one spline point, don't lead it away at too sharp an angle.then use the "straighten" tool on the straight section of OH BEFORE the junction you have made.
there are Invisable Junction levers available on the DLS you can use.
Just a few trials will get you going.
You can raise or lower the OH wires spline points as required.

hello to answer my question of trolleybus not going around roundabouts found in download station, the problem was that there was not enough power in the engine spec to drive the bus around tight bends found in mgreen's roundabouts. So now I can use these roundabouts to end routes as in many practise in England and where I live in london .I wonder if silversmith or andi06 could at some time build prototipical point work for trolleybus overhead including the handle that used to operate the points on the pole near junctions.Well thats 1 problem solved but there is always million more

Good onya mate, there is a lot too learn when taking on a real life route,I guess you are doing an area that you know well ?

I look forward to seeing a few screen shots as you progress,if you have any troubles there is allways someone on the forum willing to help.
