Triple Screens

Just set up triple screens for racing, and started using ts12 with them, looks great to see such a wide area and really lends itself to long trains. only done side is that when you go to take a screen shot it crashes to desktop. wondering if any one else has ran into this or is auran is working on a fix.

It may be due to the increased screen space - Trainz is designed to work best on one screen.

Have you achived a wrap around 3 screen "Panavision" or "Cinemascope" with Trainz ... I need to hear more about how you do this.

What are your hardware specs? Do you configure Trainz any special way? There have been several posts recently about this, but there seems to be very little in the way of details on experience on how things work, what it looks like, is it worth trying, etc.

By the way, My GF Toshiba Satellite 105 Laptop monitor screen is going bad (it had 1 vertical yellow line ... now it has 6 vertical multi colored lines, one pixel wide each.

I found a site that sells replacement screens for @ $125.

Is there any particular sites that you can recommend that does sell screens cheaper ?

I have tried all the "tapping" and "rubbing" the glossy screen method to fix stuck pixels, but I thin' it is a gonner.

I always could plug in a desktop monitor into the blue VGA port, for an external laptop screen.

The 2 outer screens are angled from the center screen, mainly for the racing.

According to the Trainz Online wiki, the relevant trainzoptions.txt item is -surround.

Read the details for it at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Trainz/Trainzoptions.txt (look for surround in the first column of the table)
