Hello kowboyk1

Nice to see some interest in FS Italian railways.

I agree with RRSignal. TrainzItalia is a great source of superb assets. Some of their “top brass”;) are contributors to this forum.

You can also find some nice items here. In spite of the URL name, items load into Trainz with no problem.
http://www.railworks.it/download/index.php?subcat=6

Most items from the latter site (possibly all) are downloaded as .rar files, which I originally had problems with because I was used to .cdp files automatically opening and going into Trainz. You will need to have the.cdp files unpacked by using appropriate software. WinRar will do it. I use 7-Zip File Manager, which is freeware, available from http://www.7-zip.org/

I've also found quite a number of appropriate assets from several other sites which I've used in various posted screenshots.

There aren’t many Trainzers posting Italian routes on this forum - probably only three of us. It would be nice to see some of your work posted when you get up and running.

Please ask if you want any more info.

Cheers

Our dear Italian trainzy friends (at TrainzIT and others) have always been very independent. There are myriads of trainzers in Italy, Casper, as you know, but the TrainzIT forums have always been their priority. And also ours at IBTZ. :hehe: Jango, Carlo "Pendolino", R. Conti and the rest of team have always done it very well.

Forza l'Italia! ;)

3031,

You realize this is a 3-year old thread?

Also you need to register your copy of TS2010, otherwise people will ignore you here.

JCitron how do I register my copy of Trainz2010

Cheers
Matthew

Hi Matthew,

Login into Planet Auran using your forum login.

In there choose Serial Numbers from the left.
Pick the product and enter in the serial number.

That should do it. If I missed a step here, someone will chip in and help.

John

Hi John so i've logged in but I can't find the serial number thing from the left.
