TREEZ pack included with TS2010?

Trainz Addict
Hi;
Is the new Treez pack going to be included with TS2010?
I would like to have these treez, and will most likely purchase TS2010, so I don't want to pay for the Treez twice.

Thanks

No; none of the add-on packs will be included in TS2010 EE. However, TS2010 will include a library of SpeedTree assets.

I have just had a look a the screen shots from the latest offering from Auran and I dont understand this obsession with trees, afterall this is a Train Simulation product isnt it.

First we had 'em (Trainz CE thru TC3), then we didn't (TS 2009 World Builder Edition).

Dont know what the world is like around your parts - I suppose trees are not important in an industrial or city simulation. Where I live the Trains run through a world which includes trees.

I love trees. They make everything look right. The only terrain I would want to model without them is the desert.
Perhaps someday I will build such a route, where everything will be focused on the railroad.
But when I'm driving a train, I like to see the trees outside.
Would be neat if one of them could fall onto the track during a storm, and we would have to get the crews out with the chainsaw.

We could have nor'easters blowing down trees along our RR's causing all sorts of havoc.

I will buy the Treez pack. After alli, it's only $9.99 i think. From what I have seen on the screen shots, they are worth the price.

Seem to be several TS2010 threads running, the main one in Community of all places!

Anyhow would repeat my view about trees posted on that thread, they are important but no more so than having a good range of buildings, bridges and lineside features which take advantage of Native mode. Otherwise we will be seeing routes with all this beautiful Oblivion style foliage and houses/factories that date from 2003!

Railworks and its predecessor have been mocked as "tree and water" simulator over railway operations and it would be unfortunate if TS2010 attracted similar sentiments.

I'm not saying trees arnt important. But have you seen the latest screen shots. You would think there selling gardening software rather than a train sim and personally I didn't think there was anything really that wrong with the current folage. I have never in all my hours of driving in trainz felt the need to stop my Loco to look at a tree.

The Treez pack is still free with pre-orders of 'soon to be released' layouts, Murchison 2 for example.
