I have a few questions about TransDem.
1. Is there a default coordinate system that the software likes best?
Reason being I have access to Arc Map 10.1, and can reassign coordinate systems very easily to dems.
2. How big of and area in square miles was the biggest file you worked with?
I have dem data for all of Delaware, and in the process of getting lidar 1Meter dems for PA. With tools in ArcMap I do not need to process the whole state I can apply a buffer 500feet buffer to the rail line and extract the dem.
3. Can zones be process and merged at a later time?
4. is there a file size limit for dems?
5. Will Tranzdem read shapefiles that are vector files for the rail lines?
If so I can create the vector files in Arc Map.
