Transdem not TS2009 friendly

Has anyone tried to export UTM tiles or track splines from Transdem Trainz Edition to TS2009?
When I tried to create UTM tiles, I got an error; something about the .gnd file.
I haven't yet tried to create track splines, but am pretty much assuming that the same problem will occur.

I read somewhere here that this is a known issue. I think GeoPhil needs to work out the differences in the versions and upgrade the software.

Not the only one...

A few of our Excellent Content Creators have posted that when the program becomes stable they will upgrade for the program.

Service Pack 1 will aid that development.

However any route created by TransDEM Trainz Edition for Legacy versions should import to TS2009 via CMv2.

I'm interested to see how Surveyor will treat these maps since the new 5m grid has been developed, but I'm so not waiting to get TS2009!

The work around is TranzDem -->TRS04 or 06 -->Save map at least once!-->TS2009 via CM2

Known issues also include maps made from DEMs using other methods.

There are several threads about this at the TrainzDev forums.
