tranferring trainz files

Hi
L have just bought a new laptop and have installed Trainz2006 on it after a few problems it is working well. My question is have does one go about transferring all the assets i have downloaded unto the new computer. I have tried copying and pasted a few theey show up in the game or on the cmp either. the computer is not connected to the internet.

I dont it is the operating system which vista home premium and the laptop is an acer. I hope I have posted in the right place. thank you in advance

If you mean you have transferred files to your laptop and want to get them into TRS2006, then start CMP and select Files - Import Content and point to the folder where you put the files. CMP will import them into the Trainz database. Then select the Open for Edit tab in CMP to see if they are open for edit. If so, right click to Select All and press Ctrl M to commit them.

Transfering files

Hi To All
The way I transfer files In Bulk I Have Bare Bones copies of All Versions on one Hardrive From UTC,2004,2006,TC3,2009
For 2004 copy your download folder to same drive change name so you know its master copy
for 2006 TC and to some extent 2009 Copy The Local Folder also Change Name I Use A 500 Gig Drive As These Folders Can Get Very Large
One Advantage To This I Have Only Installed Any Trainz Version Once You Heard Correct ONCE!!!
The Reason all You Have To Do Is copy All relevant Folders Replace download Folder For 2004 make sure you rename to download.
For the rest The Local folder renaming To Local If You Change Name.

The Trick to it all is to Grab Relevant EXE Icon Place on Desktop Using send To Desktop as Icon From The New Folders Where You Want To Run Trainz.
Click On Icon If You Have Done It Correctly You Will see The Start Up Screen
Now Start Trainz may Take Some Time To Start Depending on Size of Content Load Any Route That You Know Works With Version And Run It For
5 10 Mins Ive Found Best To Save a New Session.
Now Quit out Of Trainz out of Windows restart.
Reload Windows restart Trainz every thing Should run as Normal
My Operating sys XP service Pack 2 dont Like 3 causes Problems With A Lot Of Programs
Hate Vista With Avengance Lasted 3 Hours On My Machine Before It Crashed After Fresh Install.
So Glad I Had Image CopyOf Xp Before I Changed hope New widows 7 Is Better
