Some time ago I built the whole of the former vast Glasgow Tramway system covering over 260 odd boards (it closed in 1962). This year I bought a newer and much better pc for my sim side of things and transferred the tram kuid from the previous machine into this one. The tramway was in TRS09 and I copied it into TRS10 (both pcs Windows 7). Although also busy with a big Irish project I went back to this to slowly crawl through missing buildings and such. However I got quite a shock to see that all the tramway poles have vanished and only the overhead wires remain. Also completely gone are all the tram stops. They were yellow with round yellow tops including and "H" (think were Aussie).
The tracks are there and buildings (occasional gaps but can fill them) but to try and redo every tram stop even if I knew what it was would be a put-off as would be the missing tram poles. Both run into actual hundreds. I had went back to the tramway as I felt it was overdue for general use and a fellow Trainzer had offered to go over it for me. It will probably mean that when it does go to the DLS enentually there will be no tram stops and no poles! The thought os being a tortoise with over 100 miles of tramlines putting in stops and moving them about is not something I can stretch to. Building the former Glasgow network was a long, long effort and nearly threw the towel in at times as it was the largest outside London. All I can do is when it does get to the upwards stage is to remind folk that there are no poles or stops! Just couldn't believe what happened
Disappointing but stuck with this one I am afraid. If you want to get an idea of how big this is have a look at .....
