TrainzItalia Website Errors - Whom to Contact?

Hello, all.

I recently tried to register on the TrainzItalia website to download the White Pass & Yukon Route, but the site is showing that their bot security verification plug-in "reCAPTCHA" is shut down, asking the site to upgrade it to version 2. Consequently, I cannot register nor can I send a message via the site's "Contact Us" link.

Does anybody here know how to contact the administrators of the TrainzItalia website to inform them of this situation? I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

TrainzItalia Abandoned?

All:

I have tried PM's to Carlo (Pendolino) as well as direct email, with no response.

It makes me wonder, has TrainzItalia become an abandoned site? They are neglecting their security tool, which is preventing new account registrations. I'd hate to see all their content be lost to new customers, especially the international project for the White Pass & Yukon Route.

I also tried contacting them a couple months ago. I got a response apologising and saying they would set my account up but never got a further response and it still doesn't work.

Site is still alive as is the forum, just signed in to check, suggest try contacting Jango if pendolino is AWOL, may be on holiday or something?

I reached out to Jango first. He said it's not his site and pointed me to Pendolino. PMs and emails have gone unanswered.

It's nice to hear that the forum is active, but the registration screen is stopped until they upgrade reCAPTCHA to the current version.

Hello folks, I'm here.

I apologise for being absent from the Trainz community: I had some serious personal issues in the last months. Hopefully, I am back and 100% operational again.

I have disabled the captcha and now you should be able to subscribe at TrainZItalia again. Let me know about any issues in this thread or via MP.

Hi folks, a word of warning: the captcha has been disabled, but new registrations are no more automatic. Now, new users must be approved by one of the Admins to leave spammers out.

We regret having to adopt such solution (which implies additional workload for the Admins, but they are paid for this), but we are not exactly thrilled at the possibility of having the forum invaded by "people" offering iPhones by the carload at 0.99 $, or worse.

As a rule, any new registration should be approved within 12-24 hours.
