Nice. Are you going to paint the tender to match the engine? Do you know that if you hit Ctrl and H, it will turn off all those annoying red and green switch arrows.

Much Better. Much better.... I personally don't like a lot of head movements but that is just me. I prefer to change the camera shot with a 1 to 2 second transition. I am not sure if Microsoft movie software has that capability or not. I would recommend that if you want to make good quality videos, you check out Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0. It is not as pricy as Sony Vegas but does almost the same job.

My tip for anyone reading this is to spend some time thinking about what you want you video to show. The Train(s) or the route. Concentrate on one or the other. Spend a lot of time placing cameras and testing them out before you start. Use transitions between camera shots. Easier on the eye. Check out the videos this person makes. http://www.vimeo.com/varioflight I would love to see this guy shot a video about trainz. He is the master.

I hope this helps.

How do you take the videos?

Do you use a separate external camera or is there a feature in the program to record the video for posting? Any help would be great, I have Trainz 2010.

The programme most people use is FRAPS http://www.fraps.com/ only prob is it records 10 minute clips but that's the maximum you can put on YouTube anyway. When you have recorded it you need a Converter to make it into a suitable format.I use RealPlayer Converter and turn it into RealPlayer H.264. I tried about 6 other converters before this one and they all had a weird red/yellow/blue effect or didn't look realistic- kinda fuzzy.
