Trainz The Complete Collection Installation Issues

Recently purchased Trainz The Complete Collection. Disc two (Trainz 2006) installed fine. Disc one and three will not install. I get an error message 1045 followed by An error occurred file execution failed, elevation required. I have windows vista service pack 2. If anyone has a solution to this problem, I would appreciate it. Thank you, Tim

have you tried accessing the installers directly from the disc im not sure how to do it in vista but in xp you right clicked the drive and chose explore then it showed all the files on the disc and will show the installers try this it may work

please post the results

That darn Vista UAC

I agree...I had the same issue on my Vista system.

Choose to explore the two discs that won't install.

Find the stand-alone installers on the disc.
Right mouse click on the installer exe.
Choose "run as administrator" from the context menu.
Say "ok" to the two security dialog boxes that pop up.

The UTC, 2004 and Routes 1-4 programs should install fine using this method.

I got the Ultimate Collection for XP & I put them in the DVD-Rom Slot go to my computer & when I click on DVD it says "Please Insert", PLEASE HELP, I don't want to get rid of it
