trainz serial number

I need help with figuring out what serial number my new trainz 2009 disk is. This is being used by my autistic son and any assistance would be great. When we opened the package the label on the back of the disk envelope is torn and it appears that the first 4 digit sequence is missing. Can anyone tell me if they know how to find it or if it is a certain sequence like number, letter,number,letter. This would significantly reduce the combinations i would need to try. I have the next 20 numbers so just need the first sequence. Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Try "ATS9", I think the first 4 digits are the same for each copy of 2009, it's the next lot of numbers that change per copy.

I have no idea, did you get any error message when you tried to register it?

About the only thing I can think of is to contact the Helpdesk using the link at the top of the Forum. Auran though will be going on Holidays for 2 weeks over Christmas so you may not get a reply for a little while.
