This requires cloning and editing the session to update the ATLS crossing settings because those assets were updated recently and post messages. I would contact the helpdesk with this, and hopefully they'll look into it, but you can do what I mention if you want for your own copy.

There is an easier way to do this, well it works on the Healesville route. If you can clone/edit just the session, add a new controller at the same location, name it, and set the channel number to match the adjacent ATLS trigger.

The thing is can't find the atls controller in the session. Help desk said they are looking into it. So they sell products that don't work like they should. This was the reply
This is a known issue with routes built in older versions of Trainz that use the ATLS system. Our team are looking into this, however we do not currently have a timeframe for when or if any updates. So we get your money and sorry. I have spent plenty of dollars to support to get this reply.

There is an excellent update of the route on the DLS <kuid:605579:101686> Mojave Sub Division - TRS19 by hiawathamr and it fixes all the issues N3V cannot or do not wish to fix. As long as you have the original version installed this update can be installed and you can edit the session config files to point to this version of the route instead of the original.

There are also sessions made by hiawathamr on the DLS, search for "MD" and there will be six sessions.

"TANE Ready" are newest.
That is absolutely correct the other version states in the config description that they are TS2012 version. The TANE versions works in both TRS19 and TRS22, I can't remember if I had to do any tweaks to make them work but I don't think so. I seem to think that the hiawathamr sessions I had to mess with were all on the Marias Pass route. Not his fault it was the upgrade of the route to TRS19 and the signalling being in the base session that caused the issues.

I have been working on an upgraded version of the Mojave Sub, with TRC crossings replacing the ATLS as well. It is almost complete, with an HDT version and 5m version ready. @DennR, if you still want to try it out you are perfectly welcome.

Cheers

EDIT: I just realized that John’s post is old, and Railman102 was the recent one.

The set up is now done in the route and not the session too. This kept changing between Trainz versions and updates and was extremely annoying because it broke a lot of routes and sessions. On one route, I did a complete grade crossing separation project and put the tracks above or below the roads with moderate success.
