I think all of us have a locomotive or route in mind that we'd like to see in trainz. And as most of you know, the Train Simulator website has a thread discussing proposals and things people would like to see. (See Below)
https://train-simulator.com/category/community/proposals/

So with that said, post some things you'd like to see in this game. Loco's, Rolling Stock, Routes, Repaints. You may provide history on the thing you propose as well as photo's of it as well.
I shall begin:

The MP36PH-3C (MPI MPXpress)
Built in the early 2000s by MPI and used for commuter service on routes such as Caltrain, Metrolink, MBTA, etc

NC&STL 4-8-4
Built by ALCo in the the 1930s and 40s, these engines were the prime movers of freight for the Nashville Chattanooga & St. Louis RR. Engine 576 has been preserved and is undergoing restoration for mainline excursion serivce.

Here's a novel idea make the portals compatible with steam locos !

I got an answer back on a ticket for Trainz A New ERA, that the comparability must have been inadvertently been messed up while fixing another problem but I think they did the same thing to Simulator 12 which I have been driving in while waiting for TANE to be fixed so I can finally enjoy it like I should have these past many months!

It amazes me to think that only me and about three other guys in this hobby drive those beautiful machines and try to make them pop out of portals! Then after all the beta testing and improving it took a stupid guy like me with a little encouragement from Phil Skene to get them to realize that they caused this problem which had worked previously.

Life sucks and then you die!

well I can't model very well. I've tried

That's cause you gave up too soon. This may shock a lot of people out there, but you just can't start with modeling a train, they're far to complex pieces of equipment with many fine details. Start with a box, and get that in the game. Learn about texturing. Understand different config tags. Lean how to use attachment points. Modeling is NOT something that happens overnight. It takes years of practice building up skill, and a lot of patience. Get back in the saddle and keep working at learning how to model and one day you'll be able to create something amazing.

Could not agree more.
Route building has similar demands and rewards.

Sagacious advice. :D
