Hello Everyone,

The latest Plant Factory update is ready and in preparation for release. We are releasing the full patch via Trainz Plus Beta update stream to update the current live builds 129343 & 129393.

All the Plant Factory foliage assets can now be found on the DLS.

This is the release candidate build, and as such, it is safe to use with your non-beta installs.

PC: Requires Trainz Plus 129343 (PC). This is a small patch 160 MiB for build 131950
Mac: Requires Trainz Plus 129393 (PC). This is a small patch 158 MiB for build 131985

I'm scared to patch my game because of the last error that caused me to reinstall the simulator again on an attempt to get to the latest build, it prematurely failed as mentioned in another post, it still angers me to no end, but I'll try it once I am at home after work and on my computer.

Patched up and performing the edr, I just don't understand how such an error has just caused me nothing but pain and anger to begin with.

I'll see how it goes. I backed up the program folder before doing the upgrade. I hope that there isn't a 16-hour validation of my content before I can use it.
 
I hope the EDR for build 131950/131985 was painless?

It was but I was referring to the last time I had 22 installed and tried to patch
but I don't know what caused the sim to suddenly become corrupt to the point of reinstallation, but for now it is good, oh here is the error that caused me a lot of grief:

Just to reconfirm, this was for your previous install and not for this update to 131950.
 
Yes, I had changed it to that stream. Just checked it again - it is still on the Beta stream and still no update available.
Could you double check that it is Trainz Plus Beta and not TRS22 Beta?

Perhaps try signing out of MyTrainz account and sign back in?

I have that build and a check revealed "No update available".
You need to change the data stream to Plus Beta.

It installed fine. I was being a bit skeptical before because I've had the validation run for up to 20 hours after an update. This ran for a few minutes. My large route loaded up but it has weird spline and track loading issues that are worse than they were in 129343. Other assets such as buildings flashed into view then disappeared until I set the draw-distance to 22km.

✅ Done, exited and restarted Trainz Plus, checked for update and "No update available".
Double check the build is 129343?

Failing that, perhaps a system restart, as the only reasons you shouldn't see the update are either you are using the wrong build or you are not actually on the Trainz Plus Beta stream.
