Trainz Plus Beta 115373 (TRS22) Now available

Hello,
I always do a fresh install with fresh data folder for these major new patches. I downloaded TRS19 from MyTrains Downloads and went through updates to SP4. I then pointed to new fresh userdata folder and then updated to TRS19/TRS22 115373. I then found that i had to set my userdata folder to my new one yet again.

All went well, had to enter credentials several times along the way and at one point (the install of 115373) it prompted me to create another USER ACCOUNT which I ignored. I simply entered my credentials of existing account like normal.

New install launches fine... will now check things out.

TRS22 stuck on authorisation validation problem.

So i did a clean install trs19 with stream this time set on Trainz Plus Beta and run the 2 hour dl patch to trs22.
All went normal only the Validating on my correct trainz login get stuck on the Authorisation problem!
So far NOT working for me.

Ignore... another cup of coffee fixed what was reported. The problem was not enough caffeine. Things working fine so far.

I’ve finished installing and now trs19 is gone.

Look in your TRS19 program folder; you will find TRS22.exe there. Just add it to your desktop.

Content Manager has a strange behaviour! Some examples: when "Installed" assets are displayed and I click "Open For Editing", nothing changes, it still displays installed assets; or: from "Out of Date" to "Installed", it displays nothing at all. Categories vary and sometimes it is back to normal.

patch is installed and everything looks good, TRS runs fine, no problems found yet.

Low res loco textures - known issue. Hopefully fixed in the next update.

No access to TRS22 - should be fixed (may require you re-login).

Tone down the sharpen graphical effect that can no longer be adjusted?

Not needed to re-login it was already correct on Roystrainz account and working.

I downloaded the patch and opened the new version only to find all of my data has been lost. I have nothing left from many years of work. I am absolutely devastated.

Check the location of your original data folder, it should still be there. Point TRS22 at it and do a DBR

Tony: the build is 114800
the red flag error is a source code error something do to with the txt.

Download took 5 minutes,
Installation around 4 minutes,
Database repair did not appear or was too quick

Maybe that could've been faster, i was playing Raft meanwhile, so PC was a little busy.

One thing caught my ege again:



Couldn't you add some simple window icons? The default icon has a taste of hobby programming (or welcome back 1995).
I know it's not really important, but it's a kind of footprint.

Could the game itself maybe run (additionally offered to windowed and fullscreen mode) in a borderless window-mode (like some other games can)? I'd welcome it. Would make the game more 2022.

The options for choosing screen and graphics adapter are still blank (like in TRS 2019) - works anyway, just to mention.

Looks like there's no (new) EU-content this time? Maybe GnatzED could help out with PBR-Content

tony if you dont know or cant somehow see the sharpen effect that has been added, then the person that has been making these changes should be the one responding to this thread. you didn't even provide a change list for the update.
