Trainz in you're dreams

If I'm on surveyor just before getting to bed, sometimes I have trouble sleeping. My minds still trying fix problems and fast forwarding all the stuff I've been working on. Occasionally surveyor even invades my dreams, continuing to problem solve while I should be resting peacefully!

Well I don't think that that's sleeping piece fully.:hehe:

does you're dreams resolve you're problems before you wake up?

How can you double head steam locomotives? surely you would have to have 2 drivers and if they did how could they communicate to each other to tell the other driver orders
You have 2 crews, engineer and a fireman on each locomotive, and today they will most likely use walkie talkies. Or back in the day they would use a series of whistles(like how the telegraph worked) to send a message tot he other crews,to apply brakes, release brakes, throttle up etc.
Yup, they use the same normal whistle code (2 shorts to go) but the lead engineer (head engineer) sounds his whistle first and the 2nd engine will respond the same code. The acually ran helper steam trains, the lead engineer would make a 10 pound brake release, the release would travel down the air hoses to the rear helper and the air pressure change would show on the brake gauge. This was the only practicle way as whistle could not be heard this far back and starting until the helper engineer realised would result in a broken knucle.

I had a dream that the Los Angeles Metro Blue Line was on trainz, and the Nippon Sharyo cars that i was running stop at Del Amo station with a packed train, it was amazing.:D

No, it just makes for a lousy night trying to get to sleep. My best trainz problem solving comes in the shower or the car.

Yea, same thing with music.

For example, if I played bass just before going to bed, different bass patterns might keep me awake or invade my sleep.

I'd come up with outrageous bass lines in my dreams and then couldn't remember much when waking up. It got to a point where I'd keep the bass close to the bed, jump out of bed when I woke up and try to recreate what I heard or saw on the fretboard in my dreams, but it rarely worked.

Similar experience with the shower. A remember coming up with some interesting melodic lines while under the shower head. There was a couple times I'd grab a bass, guitar or keyboard before drying off so I wouldn't lose it.

Doubt it. Hardly never have them.

The dream before this one was about 2 years.

But you're right. I might need some more sleep.

more of my dreams have trains of some kind in them then have human people in them. also things like mazes and forests and very interestingly strainge mazelike architecture. the occasional ufo too, which is almost always a happy excitement thrill.

You will never take the recklessness out of teenagers

Well said, a few months ago I was on the Toronto Subway, and well...can you guess what they were doing?

You can't? Then I suppose I'll tell you.

They were *cough* attempting to see *cough* if they would fall onto the tracks if they stood past the yellow stripe, and only with the back part (is that the right word) of their feet on the platform. They were lucky to have been saved! I hate reckless people on the subway...too nerve racking.v:eek:

Dream

I had a dream about trainz. It was very good...

I was walking on the streets of Modula City. I then went to some station I forgot what it was called...I waited for the tram. A GT6 came first, but it had no interior so I couldn't ride in it! :p An NF10 came next, and we went to Boga Island. I got off at Boga Beach Hotels station, and rented a room...:D

Well, yo get back on topic.....

A while ago I had a dream. In that dream I woke up and stumbled out of my room like I do every morning. I let my dog out on his chain as i dont have a fenced in yard. Then I go ready for school. I borough my dog in grabbed my school bag and keys. Then I went out to my drive way and climbed in to a 1:1 scale Berkshire loco. It was 1:1 scale but ran like a toy train. In my dream I dove it to school and parked in one of the parking spots. The I really did wake up. As i let my dog out I was a little mad as I still saw my car sitting there.

Then, a few days ago, Trainz was not working for me. I then had a dream that I fixed it. The next morning I went to my PC to find that it wasn't fixed, but then I fixed it just like in my dream.

I some times dream that I wake up in my grandmas old house, where my model train table was across form my bed. I then wake up in the morning disappointed.

My dreams

My dreams have a high fidelity song sound tracks, 3D scenery, and have ending credits in the conclusion (soundtrack in Dolby) Just like being at the movies !

Dream

I had a dream where a LMS (or Conrail can't remember) was comming out of a lake!!:hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

Well that wasn't the whole dream, that was just part of the fray.

I have random busy dreams.

You just couple up two steam locos together with a driver in the first one.

"stop!" said the dispatcher, but it was too late. hentis derailed on the missaligned junction and the cars popped off at regular intervals.
