trainz exchange

when ever i launch 'trainz exchange' trs2006 from the launcher from the desktop it always tells me that the site is down for maintenance,but is it,?can some confirm.but sometimes it finds it and connects but the page cannot be found.i'm using trs2006 ver 2.5 build 2761, but i might just get a service pack for it.

Long time ago, far far away,

Auran put a link to "Trainz Exchange" on the start-up page..

It didn't work then, and so far - nothing's changed.....

Oh another dig at 06... actually it works fine for me on 06 so that's not the issue.

Isn't Trainz Exchange moribund anyway? Wasn't it dropped when TC was released?

I did put a ha ha on the end, so it was tongue-in-cheek...

I am sure 06 works very well for some people, but if it doesn't then perhaps the solution is to use the version you find 'fits' your mood best?
