If it's the one I'm thinking of, the train's a British Railways HST (Mk3 coaches with a Class 43 loco at each end).
The route is a fictional layout originally designed for Trainz 2004/06 (can't remember which) to feel a bit like a model railway. As the name suggests, it's supposed to represent somewhere on the London Midland region of British Railways' network.
