Thanks folks. Your support makes it all worthwhile.

Double Whoops. I uploaded the PDF without checking all the links. There were a couple of problems, but worse still, the Community Comment pages 3 and 4 were corrupt. For some strange reason a couple of paragraphs were dropped during the conversion. They're important paragraphs, so hopefully you early birds will be kind enough to re-download it.

Before you do, just check to see if the text goes all the way to the bottom of the page in the right hand columns of pages 3 and 4. If it does, you have the good version.

Sorry about that.

John

Very good! I hope lots more trainzers find this newsletter and are aware of it. Its extremely useful.

Now that is what I call a 'cracking good read'.:), very informative. Thank you so much, Ian & John.

Now all I have to do, is persuade my brain to assimilate the information.

Regards Bruce

Thank's for a informative, instructive,educational and well-made newsletter.
Looking forward to the next edition.

Great work JohnK, Ian Woodmore & Ian (Vulcan). A very professional looking newsletter. Very informative. Particularly Ian's articles on TARM - FILTERS & Vulcan's article on Topography Maps for Trainz. (Overall, a well laid out newsletter). Obviously a lot of time and effort went into the preparation of this newsletter . (many thanks to any other contributor/s I may have left out as well).

I'm sure all the Trainz community really appreciated all the hard work the three of you have put into this newsletter. Looking forward to the April edition. Your've set some very high standards...
Cheers, Mac...

Thanks again for all your positive comments.

If you have any suggestions for the next issue, please contact us. There's an email link on page 2.

Regards,

John

Very nice. I could be off base here but I thought one had to register to receive it in the past, but now it is "no strings attached". If that is the case, it is a very good decision.

Cheers

AJ

G'day AJ. You're entitled to be confused. It was Trainz Magazine that required registration. The Trainz Resources Newsletter was always a "no strings attached" download, but it had a limited readership.

I tried to merge with Trainz Magazine, but registration was one of the issues. Another was TM's sometimes erattic publishing schedule. I eventually joined forces with Ian Woodmore and the Trainz Community News was born. We don't see it as a duplication of Trainz Magazine and when you read it you will probably see why. The editorial in issue one also explains our decision to go solo.

Regards,

John

Excellent John, excellent work. Looks like you are digging yourself a deep hole here. Don't get me wrong. It is a good hole for the trainz community and I sincerely hope for you too.

I am sure everyone, like myself, is looking forward to the TARM and all that goes with it.
