Trainz Club

I would say it is a little early to start something as serious as this.
I'm not trying to "step on your dreams" but you should consider the following;
*Trainz Groups should be real groups with a so called "base" thus meaning that your group has a meeting place.
*Trainz Groups should help the Trainz Franchise by setting up a booth at local and distant train shows, hobby expo's, software expo's, etc.
*Trainz Groups should also have a name, purpose and guidebook.
Now the above are just my simple opinoin and you should not go by just what I say, however I would give some thought to it.
This is not child's play...this is dealing with a real thing and real people.
If we are to join, you need to provide us with something worth joining!

Simple thoughts and useless knowledge...

Todd,
I didn't mean it in any bad way, just stating that he should do a little research and study on it first.
I'm assuming he already has???
Anyway no hard feelings...

Go for it!

Do as you wish, don't let the negatives get to you! And there seems to be alot of negative people here. It sometimes gets my Irish up too!

Well I once heard a good quote,
"Without the negative folks, there would be no arguement!" -A. Montgomery

However I do have some good things to say...every once in a long while:hehe: .

Cheers,
Woody

Here's another thread that's beginning to wear thin. In case everyone has forgotten, here's the original post.

I'm starting a Trainz Club. Is there anybody interested in joining?

I'm wondering how you intend to run the club Trainman. Will it be a forum, a blog, a web site or what?

There's a great little script (program if you like) out there called Family Connections that can be easily modified to do what you want. Have a look at the demo and think Trainz instead of Family. You could get a great little community going in very little time, and sharing stuff is what the site is all about.

If you need further help, just PM me. If you're really serious and have time to take up the challenge, I could host the site for you for nothing.

Jeffjgale,

Why don't you put a link to your web site in your signature? Then people could visit it and I could see if it should be listed in the Trainz Resources Directory?
