Trainz Clinic

I have been asked to present a clinic on Trainz for our annual Model Railroader's get together. Has anyone else done this. I could use some tips and pointers. What works, what doesn't work? Are there any resources from Auran to help get the word out about Trainz?

I'll bump this for you.

I suggest bringing a decent desktop computer and not a laptop for starters. Having the best performance is better than cutting back the sliders and degrading the look of everything.

I would think too that using known-operating routes, your own creations, etc., would be good too.

Show a brief demo on using Surveyor to build a small route, and then how to go into Driver to use it. You could then expand from there, showing how to use AI drivers, driver commands, and other more advanced tools of the trade later on.

If you take a look at the internet there are plenty of video tutorials out there that can be downloaded and shown. A slide show of screenshots would probably go down well too. There are plenty of screenshot threads and I would think that any member of the forum would be more than happy for you to re-show their work to an audience ?
