Trainz 2019 and Trainz 2022 DLC recommendations - North America

Hello all,

Any suggestions for good addons for the Trainz franchise for North America.? Specifically for Trainz 2019 and 2022.

I live in the USA, but Canada looks like they have some really good stuff.

Thanks!

<kuid2:373500:100024:8> FDL Fond du Lac for T:ANE is a great route, and RH has made a ton of sessions for itif you like running sessions! Look for FDL sessions.
<kuid:425968:100010> BNSF: Clovis to Lubbock is very well done.
<kuid:429080:100126> DurangoToSilvertonTRS19_1895_1 is excellent.
<kuid2:549274:101522:3> Levi & Appalachian TANE is well done and very long!
<kuid:850934:100217> Port Tillamook RR TRS19 V2 is very good.
<kuid:526403:100547> Powder River Basin V2 is a large and well done route of the Wyoming Coal mines. The newest version is actually
<kuid2:526403:100436:1> Wyoming's Powder River Basin
<kuid:44878:102181> a dg uintah rwy 2019- june 2022 by Dangavel is excellent if you want a prototype old desert mining route. And Pitkin has made some great sessions for it.
<kuid:44878:101671> Timber Ridge line std gauge 2021 june 8th version 3 is another great and large route by Dangavel
There are also some outstanding model railroads by philskene, MSGSapper, whammo, and others.
All of these above are downloadable free from the DLS!
For payware:
The Canadian Rockies routes are very well done, and I have purchased several. One of them has the 180 degree tunnel in kicking horse pass!
<kuid2:506034:100013:2> Legacy of the Burlington Northern v2 is very good if you can stand the billboard trees (I have been bulk replacing them on my copy, what an improvement!)
<kuid2:487560:69000:6> Mojave Sub Division is very popular.

Thank you for the suggestions! The DurangoToSilverton sounds right up my alley. Is this available on the Trainz store? Also, if I purchased Trainz 2019 through Steam, can I purchase DLC's from the Trainz store? Thanks again!

how do i get those kuid's into the game?

Part of the success of Trainz has to be the proliferation of content, there is a TON of things available.
There is some good stuff off the DLS (DownLoad Station) as well, the problem is finding it, and how much you are willing to part with for it, i.e. payware vs. freeware. Jointed Rail and Approach Medium are good examples (places to start) on the more "commercial" side, while the Huntington Shops is a good example of the "hobby" side and have a proliferation of "other sites" links to follow [hint, hint]. It depends on what you like...

I am professionally, a freight conductor, so not really into operating (running trains) with Trainz, but rather enjoy building routes (or at least starting them...), so it does really depend on what you like. I'm primarily an east coast, steam/transition era, world builder, type modeler so most of my "go to" list comprises that sort of content as well as "other" reference sites (like historic bridges, maps, rosters, etc.).

Also, if I purchased Trainz 2019 through Steam, can I purchase DLC's from the Trainz store? Thanks again!
Yes, DLC from the Trainz Store will work fine with the Steam version of TRS22 and TRS19. And as an added bonus, any DLC you buy for TRS19 will also work in TRS22.
