If that's on the Launcher, patience is required sometimes. Was it doing a database repair in the background?

Followed my e-mail instructions and game is installed. When I click the start Trainz box a white blank window comes up. Upper left hand corner of box says Trainz a new era but nothing else. Nothing shows on the screen telling me if anything is happening,just a white blank box. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone,
anyone who's downloading (Removed file) file, a lot of us are having problems downloading it, if you are being cut off during downloading process, it will reset to the start and some of us can not resume the file from where it left off please investigate it, as we can not reconnect to it to resume please look into this asap

T:ANE has a little pause before it loads. Just go and have a little snack for 10 minutes or so and when you come back all will be well. (Read the e-mail again and it will reassure you that this is normal.)

OK now has anyone had any loading issues, it stated in my email that they are still fixing bugs and I repeat that TANE : CE is a beta and not stable yet and they are still going through the final bug-fix and polish phase of development, before the 27th of Feb release.
I also notice that is not a full screen and having a loading issue with drive session or create a route.

oh you might get freezing from time to time forgotten to add, this is not a normal thing I do when I check it out, they almost there, they got it nearly to point wear it is stable . sometimes some users will get a run time error or black screen with sound and no control ability.
I like to say if any users are having similar problems with TANE : CE as it is a beginning for us and testing it if it works on are PC before retail release.

You've hit the nail on the head! It's definitely still beta and I think of this now as a public beta so we can all report what's going on only to make the program better.
Regarding the display. Check the full screen button and choose your display settings. This will allow you to set your screen resolution to what you want. If you want to run windowed, which I do, uncheck the box.

Typically this means that your graphics card does not support DirectX 11. What card are you using?

This probably means your video drivers are hanging. Please make sure that you're using up-to-date video drivers, and consider swapping DirectX<->OpenGL (you'll need to restart the exe after changing this setting.)

According to this page, you might be looking at a pretty low-end experience there, however I can't see any obvious reason why it wouldn't work. At the current time it sounds like you might be having driver issues.
What OS are you running?
If you open the T:ANE profiler (Developer > Show Profiler) before you try to start the game proper, what does it show after it gets stuck? (You'll need to be running in windowed mode for this to be visible.)
