trainz 2012 surveyor problem

Hi, I recently purchased trainz 2012 and have found the surveyor a lot different to other versions.
I am having problems getting my consist to load more than three oil wagons, I have a deltic as the engine and 8 gatco oil wagons (something like that)
problem is when I issue the command navigate to oil refinery/fuel pickup/load, it will only load three of the 8 wagons with oil, all the rest are just ignored. But at the coal mine I have 8 coal wagons pulled by a deltic and they all load fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Roger

I'm guessing that the industry has not got enough oil to load all the wagons - this may be changeable in Surveyor by using the ? tool on the Buildings tab.

Roger,

You may have to check the quantity of oil available at the refinery. While in Surveyor, you can use the ? to check the properties of the refinery and possibly give it more oil to begin with. While in Driver, use CTRL-Right Click to check on the properties before and after loading the wagons. The refinery is probably running out of oil.

Hi
I altered the amount of oil avalable by changing the settings, but it still does'nt work, it will only load 3 oil wagons. I deleted the oil refinery from my route and put a multiple industry in instead, although I did have to change the setting so that the only thing it produced was diesel fuel, it appears to be working fine now, loading 8 oil wagons headed by a deltic.
cheers

Great, Roger! If you want us to look at the refinery that you tried to use, tell us the exact name or KUID number of it. Or even a screen shot of it. Maybe it's broken and we might be able to debug it.

Hey, that would be great if you could find the problem.
It's Trainz 2012
The name is "oil refinery 1"
The author is Auran
The KUID number is <KUID-3:10031>

Thank you very much for trying to help, it is grealy appreciated.

Hi Roger. I gave the below engine and oil cars a test with "Oil Refinery 1" (using it's out-of-the-box values) and everything seemed to work OK. I had 12 of these cars and it loaded about 6 of them until the oil refinery was out of diesel fuel. I waited a few minutes while the refinery made more and then was able to finish loading the rest. The track on the other side of the refinery takes in crude oil, so that side probably ignores empty oil tankers if they stop there.

I think it takes some practice with these industries. I've only used the coal loading and oil refinery industries, but I believe there's quite a few more.

Thank's Andrew. I must of put the wrong amounts of fuel in when I changed the settings, I shall give it another go tomorrow and let you know the outcome.

Roger
