hi trying to download content for trainz 2010 ee but when i log into game the things i downloaded are not there can u help me .

Hi Erin,

Welcome to Trainz, there are a few things you have to do with Trainz that you do not have to do with other games/sims.
Open CMP, found in the Ts2010\bin folder if you don't have a shortcut to it.
In the left panel click on "search" then select "open fo edit". This will list any items that are open for edit, then highlite all of them, click on "edit" and select "commit". After that is done, close CMP and start Trainz, that will allow them to show up in Surveyor.

A common problem for Windows 7/Vista users seems to be that you should install and run the game and CMP as Administrator, at least once. At a minimum, that seems get Trainz set up properly for future use. I still run XP for better performance but that's what I understand. Also, you will need to learn how to fix content, until the major automated projects for doing so are done. There's a thread in the TS2010 forum called "Listing of assets and how to fix them" or similar, as well as other threads. Although it's work, it's actually fun.

Also check if favorites is checked. When you start Trainz, click the Main Menu and select Options. In Surveyor Settings, scroll to bottom of the list and make sure the favorites box is not checked.
