Trainz 2010 own route session saved edits problems

I have a problem with saving edits on my own route sessions in Trainz 2010. Each time, I create a new session, the tracks & most of the scenery is gone. I doidn't have a problem with this in Trainz 2009. Is there a way to slove this problem to keep it from happening?

This has also happened to me today too. Liverpool13 and I are currently jointly building a route, but he has Trainz 2009 and I have Trainz 2010, so I sent him the route and he loaded it and much of the scenery and track that was there on mine, was gone, however the terrain profile was correct. I then sent him the session too and all the scenery that I did loaded fine on his PC. I think it's to do with layers, but I've no idea and also could do with some help on this subject

Edit: I've just looked. Clicking on an asset that only shows up in the session (not the route) will show that the layer box is stated as "Session Layer (or whatever the name of the session is). To have it show up without the session requires it to be changed to "Route Layer". I've just tried this with my WIP, but it is awfully laborious. I wonder if there's a way to change every asset on a particular route to be in the Route layer, not the Session layer?
