Trainz 2010 not working

when ever i open trainz 2010, i get a think that says the build number.
i am using win. 7
please help

I just installed the game myself on Win7 64-bit and it does the same for me. I've let it sit there for a good 20 minutes, and it's doing not much. Is this normal for a first run?

When you have a problem and post about it, it is good manners to detail the way you fixed it, to help others who may have a similar problem.

Saying "fixed it. now it works" tells us nothing.

In my case I ended the trainz executable via task manager, then re-launched TS2010 and it worked fine.

i uninstalled it then i reinstalled it.
when i was patching it, i hit stop then that messed it up

Please Help Me! TRAINZ 2010 is not working!

Every time I open trainz, it says that my computer is not able to work with the simulator because my video card is out of date and that i don't have directX9. I tried all those but still can't get it to work. :'(
