I finally got a new computer. For anyone wondering, Intel's Sandy Bridge is silky smooth and overclocks (@4.6GHz on air!) very well.
In my initial excitement, I installed Trainz 2010 and updated with the appropriate patch. I even installed Murchison 2. All I can saw is WOW. The hi-res detail setting is amazing. Highly recommended.
Now my question - I also have Trainz 2009. Do I gain anything by installing it or is Trainz 2010 a complete replacement? Is there any additional content in 2009 that is not in 2010 that I would be missing out on?
Lastly, if I were to install Trainz 2009 - do I run into install/patch/run problems because I have already installed Trainz 2010 first?
Cheers!
ps. I used to use Trainz 2006 alot. Am I correct in thinking that all my 2006 free/additional content is *incompatible* with Trainz 2010?
