Trainz 2010 Engineers Edition Multiplayer

Let's hope it is. And it just stopped in the middle like you said it would, but didn't finish yet. So would these false positives still be usable? Because my "faulty" assets are not, and route with the faulty assets in them lag, and when you delete them you can't put them back, but it isn't much. Most of it I never really used, like I use mainly American trains, and the BR cartic sets are some of the faulty ones, so mostly things I don't normally use, like from other countries.

If it's false positives, simply selecting the problem assets, right-clicking them, and using View Errors and Warnings should sort them out (once the patch is completed of course).

If you mean like I've got next to my username, click Settings at the top followed by Edit Avatar then follow the instructions.

Thanks. How do I download the engines to get them to work properly? (after patch is done which is still half way) Can I leave him suggestions for future projects? And are the downloads free?

That sounds about right. As long as it does not say Patching Aborted in the top section, then leave it to sort itself out.

Shane

P.S. Temporarily disabling any antivirus software may speed things up.

So when it finishes, all I need to do if I want one of the things from the site is just click the download button? The sound and texture files come with it?

It depends on the way the asset is packaged.

I'd sort out revalidation first (as the database repair at the end of the patch may flag up more faulty assets).

We had a small power surge and my computer shut off, and now when I open trainz (the patching cancelled due to the power cut) the only thing that pops up is the build number, the start menu doesn't show anymore!

I'm afraid that means a reinstall and re-patch. Back up the <trainz install folder>/UserData folder to a safe location first.

Not good - unfortunately, your version is 'between builds' at the moment, so even a command-line database repair (see the thread in my signature for details) may not fix it.

Could try a system restore perhaps Shane? I've seen that a couple of people on here have got out of trouble by using it, although I have little faith in it myself.
