First your build should be 46170. click on A & SL Multiplayer map click on session, waite for it to find any sessions that might be running,if not start your own by clicking on drive.
Someone may join you in a few mins. Not to many are playing MP in 10 or 12 so you may play by yourself.
Let me know day & time and i'll try to have a session going.
I need to find out too. I have the same one, trainz 2010 engineers edition deluxe, and i have build number 42203. My friend also has this same one but his build number is 49933.
Version as in registering your serial number (click Planet Auran, then Serial Number, then fill in the form, selecting the correct version in the Product dropdown box).
It's likely to be in the manual rather than on the discs.
Shane
P.S. Your friend would also need to reinstall to get the Multiplayer Beta, as build 49933 is the non-multiplayer final version, and cannot be upgraded to support Multiplayer without reinstalling and applying the multiplayer patches at build 44088.
Good - you will now need to install 3 patches. The first one is at http://download.ts2009.com/patch/42203_to_44088.exe - this will appear to stop halfway though, leave it alone until it says either Patching Complete or Patching Aborted (if it says Patching Aborted, something has gone wrong with it).
Uh.... I do have some faulty content on the content manager. I don't know how it happened, but just one day some assets (like some trains, buildings, etc.) became faulty and not usable. How do I get all this to fit together? Is there like a way to repair those assets without ruining any of my route? I bring this route thing up because I made one big nice route that I can't lose.
