Trainz 2010 content manager

Hey, my content manger for trainz 2010 engineers edition does not seem to work. I beleive it has something to do with steam, but other train simulator content managers seem to work. When i manualy open it in the .exe it says the file doesnt work and that downloading it again will help.
HELP please.:'(

Have you followed the advice, i.e. downloading and re-installing? Being a Steam version, that is the 1st thing to do.

You may want to check for current drivers for your video card, I think CM still requires a robust OpenGL installation to work properly.

This was from a tutorial for another trainsim, but same procedure if you have the STEAM version of Trainz;

Launch the STEAM client, not the shortcut for the game. Click the My Games tab, select Trainz, then Properties. Click the Local Files tab in that, then Verify integrity of game cache.
