Trainz 2009 Easter Egg???

Hi everyone, i recently discovered something in surveyor that left me wondering if it was done on purpose. To open the trains tab you can either click on it or press F7 correct? Well, I was wondering if it is coincidence that an EMD F-7 is a train and to place it in surveyor you need to press F7. Any ideas?

no, it dont think it is, as the company that made trainz is australian and i dont think they have EMD F-7's in australia

Australia has similar EMD "Bullnose" designs.

It is under the trains category in the game. And yes, I know it is a locomotive.

Function keys are not listed in the manual that came with my copy of TRS2009 although there is a complete (and very full) list in the one for 2010 - so I've never looked elsewhere for them. Are they listed somewhere for any TRS2009 users who need to know?

Have a look at keyboard.txt, function keys and all other keyboard shortcuts are listed in there, it's in the settings folder.
