Trainz 2009/10 discontinuation

Your right. I read somewhere that the uploaders provided the content for trainz and Auran got it all for free and sold it back for AUS$29.99. Wish I had thought of it first.
Indeed, and as soon as you produce the train simulator to run the content in, you can try it too.

So, on September 1st, Trainz 2009 and 2010 will loose support, and I was wondering, Will Trainz 12 have a sale soon, for those who have to upgrade? Or will we be forced to shell out the $29.90?

To be honest, I doubt if they'll have a sale, however, $29.90 only works out at £16.82 at today's currency conversion rates, which isn't a bad price for the complete game, you could try Amazon if you wanted to obtain the Trainz 12 DVD version which just might be at an even cheaper price, but, these are hard to find in the UK.

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

Well, in that case, maybe it is just typical N3V lack of concern for those who have already paid for a service, and failure to be proactive in preventing "crashing" of the system, when there is an expected influx of enormous usage (All the TS2010 users rushing to upload/download before the Sept. 1 Deadline).

Either way, N3V are performing below expected standards, and anyone who thinks the future will be any different just because of a new software "game engine" are sadly delusional.
--Gotta have confidence in a company that allows it's forum representatives to hand out infractions to people defending the "trainz franchise" from liability, while "protecting and defending" those that would steal trademark logos, so they can feel important with their 3rd party repaint sites.
If you have any questions about an infraction you must contact the helpdesk.
